Well there is still the replacement list and if there is enough people they could redo the bracket and just have some people with a bi or something, kinda like a basketball tourney or something. maybe they could get more judges and do 64 i dont know.

Well, since first-come first-serve isn't necessarily fair for a contest run across several time zones from a message board, once he decides to close sign-ups, it's possible AtomX will take everyone's names, throw them into a hat, and randomly draw 32 names out of it.

I took each person that said "I'm All In" after the 32nd entrant and added them to the Alternates list. If you would like to be taken off the Alternates list, let me know.

As for incresing the size of the tournament, sorry guys. Not going to happen. I know that a lot of people want to enter and I dont want to have to turn anybody away, but a 64 person tournament would just take WAAAAY too long and way too much of my time. I realize about the whole time zone thing but there just wasn't much I could do about it. That's why I waited to post the thread later in the evening so that hopefully if the European/Aussie editors got up early enough there would still be spots open.

If there is anybody that made it into the tournament who is kind of wishy washy about wanting to compete (you just kind of signed up for the hell of it, not really TOO interested), if you could, maybe consider giving up your spot for one of the alternates who really want into the contest. I'm certainly not trying to guilt trip anybody into dropping out. Just trying to fill the tournament with people who REALLY want to be in it

So if you made it in, and you came to play, don't even think about dropping out.

Well guys, I am off to go set up the seeding. I very well might get the Round 1 thread up and going tonight. But if not, definitely by tomorrow. Thanks for all the interest!! I'm sure this is going to be an amazing tournament
