Fullmetal Alchemist -- "I Am Fullmetal"
Quietly making its debut this morning, and officially making its convention debut on Sunday morning at AWA11, my newest AMV is entitled "I Am Fullmetal."
Bob Babcock (Ashyukun) mentioned in his info page for "Individuality" his take on the lyrics for the song he used, "The One and Only" by Chesney Hawkes:
"Listening through the song, it really sounds like it's about somebody joining the military and trying to keep their individuality from getting lost in the uniformity of the military."
I realized what he said makes perfect sense... and that it would be perfect for Edward Elric. This video may start out goofy, but in all it's a fine character profile of Edward Elric. He may be the military's lapdog, but he refuses to bow to their wishes. Hence Ed lip-synching to "I am the one and only, nobody I'd rather be" and all.
I certainly hope you enjoy this video. It makes me very happy to make a video using one of my favorite anime series in recent memory. I love FMA, and I figured this is a terrific way to express how much I loved the series.
Happy downloading!
