Hazuki's Only One - An Ojamajo Doremi AMV

This is my 3rd video, and I'm really proud of it. It's about the sweet childhood romance between Hazuki and Yada-kun.

My favorite thing about it is when it goes from sepia to full color as it hits the first chorus. I was originally going to make the change when the video moved into present day, but doing it at the chorus went better with the music. Instead, I used an 'old film' look for the flashback, and stopped where the lyrics came in.

That was a very "warm and fuzzy" type video. It had a nice pacing balance, matching well with the both lower and higher-key portions of the music. And the video quality is better than a good number of Ojamajo videos that I've seen. The only thing that was occasionally distracting was the lip flap - perhaps it would have benefitted from being masked out. Altogether, a calm and sweet video; I'll watch it when I'm in the mood for a nice bit of sentimental.

Thanks. :D

The video quality is good because I ripped the footage from my R2 DVDs, rather than using the same downloaded clips that make up most Ojamajo videos.

I wanted to mask the mouths, but I couldn't find a tool to do that in Windows Movie Maker. I'm using the program that came pre-loaded on the computer. I'm still new to AMVs and haven't saved up enough money to buy some decent software yet.
