Dead ideas sticky...

Post by badmartialarts » Wed Oct 05, 2005 11:28 pm

It's really time for one.

No matter the reasoning skills, OT (probably) won't come back.

EDIT buttons are for wimps. Use the PREVIEW button or do as I do and double post/ignore your mistakes.

Music or anime genres will not be searchable.

Any others that come to mind?

And to double post...

Perhaps one of the mods can give some explanation as to why these are dead topics as well. I'm not official enough.

Searching user comments is a good way to get amvs with certain music/anime genres

Indeed. If you make Ops mandatory, you will wind up making the Op system completely worthless, as people who don't want to leave Ops will just fill in garbage to get them out of their way. This probably already happens with the Star Rating system, to an extent.

The BitTorrent model is a fundamentally bad fit for 99.5% of the videos on the .org and 80% of the bandwidth used. We are not going to convert to torrenting everything on the basis of less than 200 videos a month that might benefit.

(tip o' the hat to Coderjoe for the stats referenced)
Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

You're having uploading problems for a reason; we don't want your crappy video.

The Most Useful list doesn't actually mean anything in real life, so stop filling your opinions with copy/paste garbage, jackass.
I have no idea how to use this new forum.
