Thanks for the feedback, all. I appreciate it.
So when it comes down to it, I'm content with the outcome. While it may not be my strongest video (or genre), it's not bad given that I had about ten days to edit it in its entirety before the Pro deadline. I'm glad that some enjoyed it, and for those who didn't care for it, my next project may have a wider appeal.
Naturally, it's not on the same level as Do It Right. My best drama isn't Euphoria-caliber either. I'm not one to compare, because unless we're talking in a contest setting, I don't see the community as one of competition and one-upmanship. Sure, seeing videos that are the best of their genre inspire you, but I've never gone into a project with the mindset that "I want to outdo (or emulate, for that matter) <insert popular video here>."Esrhan wrote:<snipped for length>

I didn't bring up that animemusicvideo because of it's status, but because it is a prime example of what I was aiming for with my words. Outdoing another video wasn't relevant. I was merely trying to emphasize the general concept that having in idea behind the dancing gives it a nice boost.
Emulating on the hand can se been in various ways. Let's just say that in my eyes it does nothing but good, to have somekind of a backstory behind the dancing. Let's-be-happy-and-dance didn't quite appeal to me.
Anyway, I'm not trying to bring your video down or anything. Just wanted to mention this little thingy here.

LOVED IT!!! have no clue what the animes are... but i love the music and the syncing that went along. like how the guy beat the drums on cue and the girls clapping with the beat. will keep and definitely watch again.
