Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Ghost in the Shell (all of it) + Alan Parsons Project

Mmm well I know I'm kind of a wanker for posting this announcement twice, but my original subject line got a grand total of 11 views so I figured I'd just title it as exactly what it is and let it fly. Here's a link over to the original: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=57323

The video won a judges' asuka at NDK, and is pretty much the story of Batou.

Again, sorry for being a wanker, but I think it's worth watching for those of you who like GitS... or good videos... or something.

I thought this to be one of the more interesting videos at the contest. I liked the concept, and I definitely liked the way you used the fades in the video. What I didn't like though was some of the scene choices, primarily some of the action scenes. Some of them didn't seem to fit in to well, and I thought that better scenes could have been swapped for some of them (some of them did fit well, mainly the ones with both Batou and the Major), unless of course you were trying to illustrate that their relationship is built around violence.

Anyway, nice vid
