According to the boards and the site it is a ball first and an anime convention second in relation to this event. There have been a LOT of miscomprehensions regarding this and they said they have had to turn people away for not being dressed appropriatly. You gotta consider your competition, also...a whole bunch of pimply-faced, stuck-up nerds who would rather simulate dancing with a girl on their computer than to dance with one in real life.
I definitely agree he should mail to confirm although I'm pretty sure that falls under the "dressed appropriately" category. I actually read through that section because I had a double take on it. I think it's an interesting after hours event. I don't know of any other Con that has ever offered something like this. I'm curious to see how many people will actually attend.The Wired Knight wrote:
