That is a very good idea, and the way you have it set up makes it not unreasonable for either you or the people who enter. The only problem is that people may be a bit wary of something like this due to the fact that there is no way to make certain they are entered, i.e. the game is fixed. I think it would take some time to get it rolling, but it could turn out rather well.

Well lets put it this way. If I were going to try to be the optimal player, and to milk this game for all that it's worth, I'd get 10 people to each enter twice, and each pay 3 dollars for raffle tickets. This covers the max of 20 tickets for any particular raffle, with you neeting 30 dollars. Now a standard anime DVD costs in between 20-30 dollars or so with shipping. Perhaps a couple of dollars more if it's a special DVD, but I suspect that they aren't allowed to be selected. So basically you break even on the basis of optimum play on the part of the entrients. However, most people won't necessarily buy 2 tickets, and I'm doubt you're going to run raffles for than 20 people(thereby losing money). And for every person why doesn't buy 2 tickets, you basically wind up earning a buck? Sorry to be a pessimist, but this reaks of a very slow and painful way to make a couple of dollars...

i understanbd what you are saying, but like i said i am not doing it to make money, the fee is just to cover the dvd cost and yes special dvds would be considered , depending on the price. Its more of a site promotion rather than a money making scheme. but i wouldnt even take the money unless i had 20 people playing. That way 20x2 = 40 so that is what i planed to cover the dvd. but like i said i see your point and am grateful for ya feedback.

If you want stories about stupid people go to http://www.actsofgord.com/, he ran a videogame rental store and had all sorts of people come in. One time some lady tried to rent a game for her son with FS.
