But I somewhat agree Kakashi,Sakura, and Naruto and many others i've heard so far are nothing like what they should be there baaaad.
You think also with showing dbz uncut they would at least show the nosebleeds on the show.I can't belive they didn't show the originalending cool
Hopefully tohugh as the series advances some of them will be good of course I can't standing watching this cut version more than this one episode. Also as far pronouncing the named right they may have done Naruto's right but they fucked us Sasuke his name sounds like some kind of seasoning you would put on your food.

I don't rmeber the kid's name but it was horrible of course then again when you think about it all of Berserk dubbing sucked so that was expected.CerebralAssamite wrote:Ricket? Who sounded just like a kid i might add.. whats wrong with it? Ive also heard people bitch about Ed's bro in FMA (cant think of his name right now) they say "he sounds too much like a kid" duh.. he is a kid, common people stop bitching and complaining if you want it changed to work for them and in 20 years when your voice co-ordinator you can get shit stomped because some jackass didnt enjoy who you choose.Nandez wrote:Yes its like someone is constantly torturing my ears.It reminds me of that horrible dub to that kid in Berserk.I doubt any of the others will be better either.

Got that from a review. Not saying the source since it would go against the site rules. The only way you could look at this with an overly negative attitude is if you were too busy trying to find the bad things instead of focusing on all of the good things that we have repeatedly hoped and prayed would be included.
Haven't seen the dub yet, but I'm not going to be prepossessed with bad thoughts about it. I'm just going to see if I'm going to naturally like it or not. I bet some of you where focused on finding things wrong that you had trouble enjoying it, for those who have already seen it.

My view was that even though he sounded very young, it should be that way. To many expect this cool voice that nothing could be wrong with it. You want them to sound realistic not just good. Although the voice was slightly irritating, I got by it. Just enjoy it cause it goes with his age and personality.

I loved how good the dub to Naruto was! At first I was afraid that Viz would ruin everything but I was definitely wrong! I loved the voices, Naruto sounds right on, but I think Sakura's voice could have been a little more mature sounding like I think her japanese voice is, but I'm sure it'll grow on me as I continue to watch the dubbed series. I liked the japanese pronunciations for the words too, like "hokage" "genin" and "sensei", I'm glad they didin't Americanize those words lol. Naruto in America really looks good right now, I think. I just wish they could play the orginal opening and endings, but then again toonami doesn't really play those for any series, except for maybe once or twice which means the orginals would most likely be in the dvd releases. I really looking forward to hearing Haku's voice =P Hehe -thumbs up to the dubbed Naruto!- (i hope i don't get eatin alive by those antinaruto-dub people >.o;;)

I...actually enjoyed it. I usually don't watch TV at all. But I would watch this again. My brother really liked it too. I'm glad...there really hasn't been another anime that the both of us enjoy (he's the only other fan in the house).
Konohamaru and Ebisu were pretty good too.
Iruka aside, I think the only one who sounded off-color was Sandaime...a little young I think. But even then I'm not agonizing over it.
I was really happy with Naruto's voice. It'd be too wierd if I heard him drop down a few notches in pitch. I probably would have burst out laughing. Unless there is a problem with his original voice (also done by a woman), I don't see what the problem is here. That's how he always sounded and I thought the English VD did a good job capturing that.dokool wrote:Which is to say he sounds like every member of his fanbase I've heard complaining about the dub.VegettoEX wrote:Naruto sounds exactly like a hyper, confused, pre-pubescent young boy.
Jesus christ people, it's not *that* bad. From looking at the preview clip I'd say Iruka's voice was pretty bad, but Naruto sounded just about spot-on...
