VDub is OK when you hane alot of time and a good stopwatch on hand. Seriously, it's a cleaner route, coarse you can only basically peice the clips together...

I once used Pinnacle Studio 8, atleast before i switched to Premiere. No videos that i made with Pinnacle have been uploaded here, but it's not a bad program to learn how to edit with, and pretty cheap too, atleast compared to Premiere.
