New to AMVs, my Naruto AMV Debut!

Post by Ikkan » Mon Sep 05, 2005 12:25 am

Hi everyone! I just started making AMVs, and this is my first one! Brand spankin new, hot off the press, all that good stuff!

It is from Naruto, and is entitled "Naruto and Sasuke - Push It". It's from the fight between Naruto and Sasuke which takes place mainly in episodes 132-133.

The music I used was Static-X "Push It" and Slipknot's "Wait and Bleed". This is an action AMV.

I used WMM 2.0 for this project.

And Finally, here is the link http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=87705

I am EXTREMELY excited to hear feedback, please if you think it's bad tell me how to do better next time!

Thanks everyone!

The quality was quite nice, a shame there were subtitles.
But there is a big hint I'd like to give you:
Don't ever suddenly change the music in the middle of the AMV.
Next time you better stick to one title and try to edit the scenes a bit more. Especially for action videos, this tutorial can help:

Keep making AMVs, youre on the right way, no one's first AMV was perfekt ;)

Thanks for that, yeah I thought the transition was sloppy for the song change, but I really wanted to capture most of the action from that fight, but I guess I can just continue them later. Since I used WMM 2.0 I couldn't get subtitles out without cropping them, and I didn't want to do that either :(

Yeah cropping sucks, and when the picture is in heavy motion, it's the only way to get rid of them.
Best is to look for scenes that don't even consist subs... although thats sometimes hard.

Yeah, I really only had subs for Sasuke's Katon skill so I think that was better than just randomly having dialogue in during a fight. But I'll have to check out trying to find scenes without any subs, perhaps I'm a bit too anal about chronological order right now.
