This is an AMV based on a fanfiction called Hebi no Tsubaki (The Serpent's Camellia) written by The Ambitious Blank on fanfiction.net. The story is based on Kimimaro and I tried to adapt the theme and atmosphere of the story into the AMV. More on that in the comments section.

Okay, the sad part is that no one is going to watch this because you mentioned the forbidden anime ... Naruto.

This song is perfect. From a technical aspect, the animation is set with the music in a very aesthetically pleasing way. I haven't read the story, but the portrayal of his character in general is pretty spot on. I like how despite it being an omgNinja!angst video, it's not omgCryCry. If that made any sense what so ever. I promise an opinion forthcoming!

And all of you looking through the comments first... go watch! It's worth your time!

Creative idea, although not your own, you still had your own interpretation. I like your ambition to go through with this, and it was definitely entertaining. I read through some of the fanfic before watching. I think I can see why you might want to try a project like this, but I think it would have more impact if it was from your own idea. Personally, the video feels a bit rushed with it trying to convery so much in the span of the song. I think this is a case where I would've liked to see a longer version so that the story could be told through song/video without that feeling of being rushed.

Some effects were annoying, but still an enjoyable video, thanks for making it.

Nice work. I loved the storyline, and how you made it come across very clearly. Good concept. I was wondering when somebody would come along and make a profile for Kimimaro. :wink: Visual quality was pretty bad, though...

Your kidding right? Look at the top ten, and videos have had lots of comments that were Naruto and announced here.

Anyway the video seems nice, I'll check it out. ^^

No no, he have right.

Naruto is something unbelievable on this site. I'm afraind for my sister for example, she finished her new video today, she worked on it something like 8/9 months. It's an amazing (amazing, really) work, but the anime is Naruto. And I'm trying to find the way to make her some feedback to be able to make someone give it a try. (even if is still even not entered on the org.) Naruto is SO overused that now people judge something before see it. (and I don't blame that, really..)

Hmmm... I feel that videos with "Naruto" as the listed anime are the most checked out on the org, maybe because of the huge number of Naruto fans out there, so its not that no one will watch a Naruto vid nowadays, its just that you'll get to hear complaints about originality more often :wink:
