Just to note, I'm using the exported video from WMM that's in a DV-AVI format which later got converted into a huffyuv.
Now, I'm working with the wav audio I extracted from the huffyuv, and I'm getting ready to convert it into an mp3. Just for the hell of it, I decided to play the wav audio, and I noticed there are popping sounds. There were also some moments where the audio gets sped up. Any ideas why it does that, and what should I do to remedy it?

this is dodging the question of why the audio got distorted, but why don't you just use the original source wav rather than the one extracted from the huff?

I was afraid you're going to say.
For some odd reason, using the original wav audio actually makes the video go out of sync (like the first time I attempted it, the audio gets played too late). Because of that, I use Audicity to modify the audio a bit and in hope I could get the audio to sync with video in the way I wanted. But that's becoming very annoying and frustrating after so many attempts I made.
