Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

A Midwinter Night [Dance/Trance]

Post by Moonlight Soldier » Tue Aug 30, 2005 4:43 pm

Clicky

This was something I threw together during editor's block for the Chobits AMV I've yet to finish.

It's a just a dance video with some gratuitous effects. I was trying for some good internal sync. I also cut the track down a bit.

Let me know what you think :)

What do I think?

Funky, unpretentious, and 100% moonie. :)

And if THAT's editor's block...

...I want editor's block too :?

(definitely some good, simple synching work. No real complaints - you're definitely continuing on the right editing track.
And I seem to recall liking that movie, too)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Good job, Moon! You should get editor's block more often.

As I said, trippy, yet oddly enjoyable :D

And I'll never look at SM the same...

I liked this video. I don't see the S Movie that often alone in videos. It was nice to revist the movie again since I haven't seen it in awhile. Awesome job on the transformation part. It wasn't too flashy. It wasn't too luna-centric either which is good since that was one reason why I didn't like that movie as much as R. You get some clappage from me!

Nice one, Moonie. Very tight beat-sync throughout, and kept up the pace quite well. :)

It became tough to do, since it's basically the equivalent of working with three episodes. The transformation sequence was tricky >.> I took a pre-constructed animation [of different coloured spinning boxes] and somehow turned them into a mirror effect. [I'm still not sure how I did it, I just messed with alpha keys lol]...Thanks ^^
