First of all I DID FROM THE FIRST TIME!!!! and i didnt blame you guys for it i was trying to look for a solution sorry if angried you ( u seem a bit "not caring if people have trouble with uploading to your servers") usually people like you never make too good server admins/hosters if you dont listen to what sorta problems people have, instead you think every post is hostile... dont think that way and you see things work out better, dont be a numbskull nazi and people wount treat you like ( i am here referring to the phrase you gave "one that can keep up with your attention deficit." it seems your a person like that)

It appears that you are the one that started the hostility in this thread. If you act like an unintelligent person, you will be treated as such. If you want people to be nice to you, you must be nice to them, especially if you are asking for something.

FTP has the great advantage over web form uploads in that you can stop and resume an FTP upload while a web form upload must always restart from the beginning of the file if there is a problem. Web form uploads do not tell you the status of the upload (percent completed) so you just get to sit there while the web browser icon spins; FTP shows you the progress of the upload and an estimated time of completion. FTP programs generally use fewer resources than web programs. It is for these reasons that we use FTP to upload videos.

If you want help with something that normally does not cause problems, you need to provide as much information as possible about your problem. If you do not provide details, people assume that you have not followed the directions already given (since this fixes 90% of the problems people have with uploading).

Here is some standard information that should be provided whenever you need help:

* The type of internet connection you are using (56K, DSL, T1, university network, etc)
* The operating system and version you are using
* The browser and version you are using (if applicable)
* The FTP program and version you are using (if applicable)
* The procedure you followed
* Any error messages you received
* Any steps you already have taken in order to solve the problem

Do you have trouble with connecting to other sites using FTP? Did your troubleshooting last more than 24 hours? FTP upload uid/pwd combos automatically expire after 24 hours, so you may need to get a new one.

Once we know more about your problem, we can then help you to solve it. Until then, we can do nothing but give answers that have helped other people who did not provide enough details.

NOW FIRST OF ALLL!!!!!! when i said a site with no crappy FTP i meant a host where i could upload it without FTP then add the link for ur pages, so dont go to do conclusions before you ask from person ( adressed to trythil)
and what it comes to unintelligent... i think i just proved my point you people dont ask anything you jump over to conclusions... SO!!!!! whos the hostile here so far thrythil ( or whats ma call it ) and how do you expect people to be nice at people like him???

as for advantages of FTP, Couldnt give a horses ass bout it for me its just another file transfer behind its time like gnutella.

as for the details yeah i might have not given all the details, but the real problems was when i finally got in to the host, time out or server disconnected me as in messages of filezilla " operation timed out" or " disconnected by server" when i was about to upload
