Free publicity - showing amvs at student club fair

Hi folks,
I will be showing videos at a booth at Cornell's ClubFest on Sunday Aug. 28 1-4pm, and I can only fill 1 hour with videos of mine and friends, so I have 2 hours to show videos from anyone interested before I start looping. I will show the videos on laptops we're borrowing from the university, powered on what batteries they have.

Notes on the video submissions:
-I will probably be showing mpeg-1s burned on to CD. If your video is not mpeg-1, I will convert it using TMPGenc. I'd prefer if you did the format conversion yourself for quality issues and because I'm lazy.
-Please, no subtitles or divx logos. I don't want to confuse the audience.
-Please, no sexual nudity/exposed innards. I don't want to scare away the audience.
-Audio and Video will be whatever the laptop can put out, so it's not gonna be the quality you would see at a convention.

While Welcome Weekend is aimed at freshmen and transfers, Cornell has something around 14,000 undergrad and the event will get publicity so videos should get a good audience.

I'd like to donate a video or two, but I'd have to ask some technical questions first and what not. I'll ask them in the thread as I'm sure everyone could benefit from them:

- You're using MPEG-1, but I've got videos in MPEG-2. Is that okay or should I redo the conversion?

- Any rules or anything on bumpers?

- Why do chickenburgers taste funny?

I think that there is an Anime booth at our Canfield Fair comming up next week, so I can almost garantee that there will be AMV's there, too. I'll probably give a few of mine to them.

This is a public showing of AMVs. so, like, i can't send you it. but i will take pictures of the event and post them.

if you want any of your videos shown, just post links to whichever videos you want shown.

i'd prefer mpeg-1. the videos are going to be played back on laptop software.

This is MPEG1 so there should be no problem!!

Feel free to click my signature left and/or right, They pretty decent quality, so they should survive transfer to mpeg-1 quite well.
