There's nothing to do with release/premiere date in that description.
Why is that important? If you want to give publicity to a great video, there you go. If it's about the VCAs only, come back in several more months when VCA talk is remotely relevant.

That's why I mentioned that forum.

...Sarah, I was supporting your suggestion.

not really... most of those aren't eligible for 2005 or 6 or whatever you wanna call it.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

There's still no point in discussing the best video of the year when most of the strong videos (the ones that are premiering at AWA) haven't been released yet.

This is about as pointless as talking about the best movie of the year - there's still 5 months left!

Hahaha... yeah, rather redundant thread, but I agree with Niotex about that video being underrated... must be the fact that it was released at almost the same day as "In My Mind" was... but of course, I love that vid too... dang it.

That's funny, I feel the exact opposite way about it

I'm thinking "Naruto's Technique Beat" and "The Wizard of Ozaka" will be pretty strong contenders.
I also like Wizard better lol, but like my own (only to a smaller scale) I think it's to niche to win... I mean not rewatchable enough if you don't like the rpg flavor ;p.

Yeah, I realized that the awards are far off for this topic, but perhaps theres nothing wrong with giving a 'heads up' for some great videos...right? (Otherwise you may miss voting for them later)

The rules for the recommendation forum didn't allow any discussion. Guess that's what we're doing right now

For me the video of the year so far is Suberunker's Still Preoccupied with 1985.

It was well done, and I really liked the overall concept.
