easy, you judge something without it all 9s and you judge something with it all 9s, the one without it (for me, Alchemist's job, a stupid FMA video, verses Images, a BRILLIANT Last Exile video that I'm sure Corran will agree with me -_-) then, just because I can't bear to give all 10s, the crappier one will be higher! Doesn't bother me though as the only place it's evident is in my own opinions page, but....

can you explain that more clearly? i tested out what i think you were saying. i gave an opinion of all 9s including digital effects, and then gave an opinion of all 9s without digital effects, and both ended up with a score of 9.00 on the my opinions page (although the score that appears on the my opinions page is the equally weighted average of all ratings, in contrast to the top 10% score, which weights overall and review more heavily.)

I find it humorous (and hypocritical) that half of the people arguing in this thread are people who say they don't care about the list and yet do as shown by their own actions.

Both of them are videos. Some people like them. Some don't. Some people are retarded. Some aren't. Get over it and go edit while I go play video games >_>.

OK I didn't put MUCH thought into this ;p but I found 2 occasions that I find mighty mighty MIGHTY suspicios
ok I gave Alchemist's Job a 9, 9, 10, 10, n/a, n/a, 10, 8, 10- that's 1 8, 2 9s, and 4 10s with the review and overall at 8 and 10 for an average of 9.67 on 3/3/05

I gave Alt. Bebop a 10, 8, 9, 10, n/a, 10, 10, 9, 10- that's 1 8, 2 9s, and 5 10s with 1 10 in the dfx spot (that defaults to 10 according to my theory so it shouldn't matter anyway) and a 9 and a 10 in the coveted review, overall positions for a lower average of 9.6 on 2/1/05

Most suprisingly, I gave Pop up Excel a 10, 10, 10, 9, 8, 9, 10, 10, 10- that's 1 8, 2 9s and 6 10s! Notice 2 10s in the coveted rev and overall spots, thee lowest numbers, 9 and 8 are in the optional dfx and lipping spots, but the average is only 9.5 on 3/3/05

so something is deffiniteley up here... I included the dates just in case the scale has changed, but febuary to march of this year is a pretty small sample ;p.

oh, i just noticed that the score doesn't include review when it determines the average. it explains all the scores you listed, except alt bebop, which should have come out to 9.57. was the score 9.60 or did you round?

there is no difference whether you scored fx or not. nonetheless, the fact that review isn't being included in the average is something site coders should fix... once they get the time...
