You're probably right.

I know I said I wouldn't post again but I just wanted to say I totally agree with your signature (although I can very occasionally make exceptions).

Contest winner listings are usually gold though!

Either way it is too late to fix. We can't expect all 300+ people to go back and add in the score they would want for digital effects. <strike>There is also the question of while we would wait for people to do that, what kind of score should go in its place in the meantime?</strike> Either way I don't think it has too much of an advantage. Overall and Review makeup 50% of the score used to rank videos and the rest the other 50%.

Really? Looking at the formula, I always thought Overall was one third, Review was another third, and the rest was the third third.

Now THAT's cheating (although not necessarily by Scorpians). 8-)
BTW, I just took care of that. I'm not sure how much it will really affect things or how often the list is updated though so the results may not be readily apparent or noticable at all.

Euphoria's Love

Post by [Mike of the Desert] » Sat Jul 23, 2005 9:54 am

Uhh well I saw today that "Whisper of the Beast" passed Euphoria today (frankly because it's a Naruto video)
Maybe it's the opposite. In the time passed since Euphoria became the Euphoria AMV, discussions like this one borned and borned one after another, luckly this one has a good point of discussion. I absolutely don't want to create any type of discussion but.. Maybe it's exactly the opposite, maybe is the crazy love that people have on Euphoria that for them is impossible to think it beaten.

Anyway, about the Digital Effects question. Whisper of the Beast use mainly cuts and masks, this could be thought as something that justificate the missing Digital FX point, and mainly is what I think that Scorpions thought, but yes, probably the Digital Effect point should have been enabled.

But I don't think this is cheating, to be sincere. :)
