New to music videos

Post by TheEndless88 » Wed Jul 20, 2005 8:16 am

Hi, name's Andi, and, as topic states, I'm new to Anime Music Videos.

I am interested in learning how to make Music Videos, but I don't know where to begin, I do have some good ideas, but I don't have anything to work with other than Windows Movie Maker.
Any Good programs or anything I should get?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I make editing FUN!!

First you'll need some footage. You can download it from the 'net with Kazaa. There's lots of DBZ footage on Kazaa. Or you can use all the amvs you already have!

Then you'll want some music.

You'll want something with a big riff in it like jug jugga jug jugga jug jugga jug jugga jug jugga JAH JAAAHHHHHH!
sorry couldn't resist. here's something to help you: http://amv.dwp.filetap.com/aboutstart.htm

Use WMM for a while first, until you get the hang of making vids and before you go out and spend $100+ on an editing program that you wont be able to figure out when you're first starting out. Not all WMM movies are bad, there was just a thread for good WMM movies, actually, so check that thread out for proof that although WMM may not be the best, it doesn't suck.

And whatever you do, dont get Zwei-Stein >_<

Word of advice:
Don't get stressed out over making a video.

Don't make your video to please everyone else. Make it to please you. (In other words; make your videos for you and no one else, unless you're dedicating it to someone specific.)

Never let anyone or anything discourage you.
