Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides and learn why you shouldn't even be using MP3s in the first place...

You need to use a program such as dBpowerAMP. This program allows you to rip songs off your cd's. When you rip them you want them as wav files. Hopefully this will help.

Read the guides linked to by Dokool, they tell you about a better program than dbpoweramp, and they tell you how to use the audio file once you have it.
"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."
