The font used in banners and avatars

I'm making a banner, and I need a font that looks good when typed really small. There's one in particular I'd like to use, that I've seen around the org a lot in banners and avatars, the one in this banner. Does anyone know what this font (or one similar to it) is called and where it came from?

(I know this is not exactly AMV related, but I didn't know where else to put it.)

Those are usually called pixel or bitmap fonts.

It's a lot less after all of the duplicates and bad files - a little over 6000 by my count
