AMV remake help?

Allright, this is my big 10 Minute Epic that I put together sometime last year before I actually learned how to do propper video and audio rendering.

I've been wanting to remake it and do it right this time round. Since I have access to the propper tools I want to re-do it from the ground up (I've got to recreate all my source footage and audio, so it's a build from scratch project using adobe). My thing though, is that If I am going to do it again, what do I need to change to really bring it into the big leauge. Should I drop or switch songs? Change the effects, add more?

Any ideas guys? I know a 10 minute AMV is a pain in the ass to chew through, but If I can fix it, it will be the ShizNit.

The idea behind the video is to do a Recod of Lodoss war tribute where we condense the entire Anime to less than 10 minutes.

HellooooooO!

*Hides in the corner*

Fine, then I will just have to this on my own... Using the diabolical secretes learned from the ancient Beta tape masters... Yes.... My creation will live... And it will be evil...

EEEEEEEEEVIL!

I have now turned towards the dark side. The mad scientiest of utter chaos and destruction has now been born! MWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

Im working on it, just the DL froze when the screensaver turned on.

Actually, I got a better idea than an opinion, how about I add captions to the video to help you out?

I'd be willing to take a look - Just wait til I get back from vaca! What anime is it?
Making an amv, is rather like being the director of a Broadway show, where you have a million dancers and each of them only knows one step.

It's REALLY long. What you did was good, but you don't want to ground your audience, the clips were good, froze throughout the whole thing, but that may be the computer and not your fault. I liked the way you incorporated different songs and music to different clips, (don't get angry, you asked for help and I'm giving it to you. please don't get offended. please?? ) Anyways, I thought that what you did was basically give a grocery list, the images flowed, but it was confused and there was really no main theme that I was able to derive from the amv.

For me, I personally think that any type of music video or amv should have a theme and sort of tell a story. What you did was good. I give you a cyber high five, but there was something that was missing that didn't quite catch my attention. But, in the long run, it was not a bad amv, however, there are things that can be changed.

Hope I gave you the type of help you were hoping in getting!! :D
Beware the Princess of the UnderWorld, mwahahahahahaha....*coughs*. ^_^;

Alright, heres what you need to do for your remake:

1.Interlace the footage better.(the interlacing was the only major bad thing)
2.Add some effects.(Remember, when making a video, especially this long, you need to change the effects frequently throughout the video. If you don't, it will start to bore the viewer.)
3.Work harder on the lip synchs.(They weren't very bad, but they could use some work.
4.Try to use lots more clips.(Vids always tend to get better reviews when they reveal a little bit more.)
5.If you want, adding a little frame-by-frame editing, and doing some rotoscoping would heighten the affect of your vid on the viewer.

Overall, I thought it was a pretty good vid. But, you can tell(like you said) through the interlacing, that you didn't know a whole lot about video and audio. Good Luck!
