E-ko(/Weibelius) has a new video?!

This looks oddly familiar...

I remember entering this in the AMTV category, 'cause there was no Dance/Upbeat category, and I thought it had more of a chance there (like AEO:EB, it doesn't have that many LOL-funny moments)... but if the prescreeners thought it was funny enough to be a comedy, that works too. :)

But I have to start out the category...

SWEET JESUS! "Crimson" missed a spot in the finals by 1 spot! It was good, but by one spot it didn't make it into the finals! God, what are the odds of that! This is what my e-mail said:

"Hi Douglas,

Sorry for the really late reply. ^^;

Yes we received your DVD and it worked without a hitch. You didn't make
the finalist list by 1 place (you ranked number 8) which bummed us out
because we really liked your video. But I'm hoping your video will get
shown in an uncut version of the contest to be shown later at con. I'm
currently fighting for that one and hopefully I'll get it pushed through.
:)

Thanks for submitting this year and we hope to see you at AX!

God, I say again, what are the odds of that happening!!! And I thought a vidoe of mine would finally get into an AX AMV Contest Final. Ah well!

Considering the rather large number of entries I would expect a contest like AX to get, missing the finals by only one spot still qualifies as pretty damn good.

Looks like they may be doing a showcase type thing after all. :D

Faithless won the Drama cateogory in Otakon 2004.

Well I got in, but I still haven't recieved an email confirmation, Im curious if that is for everyone or not. Plus, I wanna see how my other good vid placed in the larger scheme of things.

Dreams of last year still haunt my waking hours, that is why I am coming prepared with a nice authored DVD for just-in-case, and I recommend everyone else do the same because its a pretty big bummer when they announce you are disqualified because they cant show your vid. "Sobs" Reconfiguration forever man!!!!!!!!

I haven't gotten a confirmation email either. I hope it has some info on where to pick up the tickets..
