HOW THE FUCK DO YOU BYPASS COPY PROTECTION?

Post by RamonesFan2020204 » Tue Jun 21, 2005 5:52 pm

I'm trying to make an Megaman:NT Warrior video with "Johnny B. Goode" by Judas Priest, and the DVDs are copy protected, so whenever I try and copy DVD footage to VHS, it turns up all messed up and shit. It never did this on my old TV!!!!!! Not even with copy protected discs! What the fuck do I do?

....why are you even coping to vhs?

Get a dvd drive and just rip the dvds to your computer, problem solved.

Um... and you're here why? :?

If that's too complicated, don't bother looking for alternatives. They are a few powers more complicated than that

Oh. Well, in that case, may I suggest...

I think this should answer a lot of the questions on how to handle DVD.

Help you with what? The protection is there for a reason: to keep people from making VHS copies of DVDs.

Suggesting how to get around it only brings complications of piracy, and we're not gonna go there.

Either way you're gonna have to rip the DVD, as that is the first step to removing macrovision.

basicly just download dvd dycripter or something... its in the AMVAPP then you just have to open the program put the dvd in your dvd drive select all the big 1 gig files (hold ctrl and click on the big files) make sure they are highlighted select a folder or directory you want the files to go in and press be button with the icon from dvd to hdd wait till its done then open up DGIndex wich is under DGMPEGDec when you open it up using the start button (sorry i donno how you guys call it english...) then go to "file" then "open" then "add" select one of the vobs (the raw that come straight off the dvd) that you just ripped and press oke. make sure you do this one vob at a time ells it will crash then hit F4 select a directory where you want to save the project and script to and tada you got a avs script done wich if installed AMVAPP compleetly should import into premiere perfectly if you need a more detailed guide so to say ill be glad to help you out ^^
