Ram Changing

One day, probably next year or in the 2007 I will change computer, but I have a doubt. My actual Computer have a lot of problems, it don't work really well, he crash a lot of times and a lot of funny things. Being ignorant of hardware for the most, my question is: If in the next computer in the future I would put the Ram (the same, phsysically, as object) of this pc in the new, would be possible to have any problem?

Yes. I have solved random crashing problems by simply replacing the RAM stick with a new one.
