Slow FPS times on a fast computer...

Post by Akashio » Sat Jun 18, 2005 8:19 am

I am currently converting one-layer video (no filters or anything) from HuffyYuv to Uncompressed in Premiere and it is exporting at 12.3fps!!! THis doesn't make sense as my specs are as follows:

Athlon 64 3500+
Radeon x800 series
1 GB Cas2 RAM
and other similar specs...

Why is this happening. Not only the export framerate seems low, but also everything about the computer seems slow.

BTW, I just recently upgraded motherboard, cpu, and video card (to specs shown).

Dude, what's wrong with 12.3fps? I'd say that's a pretty good frame rate for exporting.

As for everything else being slow... well... have you defragged and/or checked your system for spyware/adware/viruses?

Yea, 12.3 sounds pretty good in Premiere to me, don't really see an issue with that.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
