I just finished the series, and really enjoyed it. I would suggest it to anyone :)

So of other people who saw it what did you think? Personally I really liked the ending when he tuned the world, yay for Ayato.

i really enjoyed the "evangelion-like" action. very similar in many ways, yet different. i think the ending was very well done. they kept the girl in the yellow dress' indentity well hidden untill the end. great show!

Me and my friend actually didn't know Haruka was Mishima until we watched the movie... It was pretty much after the beginning scene when we both went "OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

In some ways, I liked the movie. I liked the way that it focused more on the romance angle instead of the intrigue and stuff.

The series is remarkably consistent though, if you understand the story and watch it again, you'll see all the little visual cues, and subtleties that play out later.

Episode wise.. ( since it's in episode discussion), I'd probably say that the one where he accidentally kills his friend, was probably one of the more shocking and messed up things I've seen in a long time. Then he gets back and sees the diary. Dude would need some serious therapy after that.

This anime really messed with my head, i have yet to watch the movie, and only watched the series through once, but by the end i was like... "wha....?".

I honestly didn't understand the ending at all... everyone dies? the scene at the end with Haruka and Itsuki, Ayato and Mishima at the end, although anytime she popped up things were weird, Quon gettin blasted, and everything to do with Tokyo Jupiter just confused me to hell...

But even so, i did enjoy watching the show... and like madbunny, when he kills Megumi... oh the irony... definatly one of my fav eps.

Watch the movie. It explains things better. I do prefer the series though as some of the better stuff is covered to a better extent than in the movie, which is understandable.

that was one of the best episodes. lots of emotion. didnt seem like every girl on the show was in love with ayato? must be nice. ive been watching the series for a second time. its not as confusing the second time around. ive been picking up things i missed the first time. you gotta watch the movie.
