You know, not all MADs can be all effects. Hell, Chack'n's videos are considered MADs, and all this person used is straight cuts and fades (almost makes some other "straight cuts and fades" videos look like a joke).

yes indeed. Pianos sent me MADs from a few years ago (around 2001) and most are the exact same as AMVs from around that time, except for the japanese pop music. lol

I have yet to see a MAD that I liked. I can hardly call their kind of editing "style."

Indeed, MADs are generally impressive when it comes to FXs but I regret some lack of creativity : No trailers/parody/gore/drama/.../ categories for example. And I don't know of a single MAD which has a storyline that can compete with one from a Bakadeshi's video....
=> That's why I still prefer AMV

well, the fact that all of you are sitting here arguing over this topic means that you ALL care about MADs too much. Who the fuck cares what they are, why they are made, or what they kind of effects they use. If you dont like them, then just shut up and go mind your own business. I hate people complaining about how they hate something, no matter what it is

And that's why his are Douga-MADs, as opposed to Seishiga-MADs... right?

Actually his are Douga-MADs because he used anime instead of just stills. The amount of effects don't really enter into it I guess, although that's somewhat confusing because then, what are Paulo's videos considered?
