Re-organized section

Post by Otohiko » Mon Jun 13, 2005 7:06 pm

So I see we had a bit of a flip-around and a name change. I sort of find the current setup confusing, but perhaps it's just me. Peraps "site feedback and suggestions" might be a little more straightforward?

Or is it just that we're not all suggestible anymore?

I always thought suggestions were a variety of feedback.

Wouldn't feedback be more along the lines of critical evaluation of current features, and not ways to add to the site in general?

That's what I basically thought here, yea.

Anyway, it's for dumb and/or semantically-picky people like me, and it will probably have the effect of encouraging suggestions rather than just 'hi nice site'. If you want to encourage them, that is.

It's been renamed in order to allow for a somewhat expanded area of discussion, covering things like banner ads.

We'll see how that works out.

I think it's okay to be semantic here. After all, that's all this change is in the first place.

Honestly does it make any difference in reality? Seriosly, think about it. it's one word thats very similar to the previos word used. People arent goin to sit their and think "hmmm, should I post a site sujestion in the site feedback forum? I wonder.............." .

Right, they'll probably post it in General AMV.

Most Web users have lost the attention span to read forum titles.
