God does not want me to make AMVs

Post by DDramone » Sat Jun 11, 2005 7:01 pm

so yeah, i get all exited with my new handy dandy premeire pro 1.5 and i cant use the footage i ripped! ive been waiting for almost a friggin year for some good software and now i cant use it the way i wanna!!!

the ff9 stuff i ripped works fine on the first playback, but after that it plays the song but not the footage, and the worst part is that it wont stop until the songs done! the ff9 stuff has been ripped in the Indeo Interactive codec.

i also ripped a coppy of Jin Roh in the indeo 4.5 (or something) codec. when i put it in the editting moniter box, it will only show like the first 10 minutes of the movie. if i move the little timeline thing farther into the movie, it just goes black and doesnt load. it loads back, though, if i put it back around the begining.

Why are you using some ancient codecs, which are known not to work, then?

You could just follow guides and do what they say instead.

Does anyoneuse Indeo anymore (or did they ever)?

Use the "HuffYUV" codec or "Uncompressed RGB", though HuffYUV I strongly recommend as it shinks the filesize of clips drastically and is still lossless.

Or you could just edit from the DVD footage directly. :P
