Me liking or hating something is usually not based on others opinions, but based on weather I naturally like or dislike something. I don't know why some people force them selves to not like something they naturally like because of other peoples perception or force them selves to like something they naturally don't like. I don't see why some people act as if there smarter than everybody else by liking things that are only underground or unpopular, and why posers only like things that are popular just to seem cool. :\ I don't see to much of a point to this thread since IT IS hard to please everyone(and just about impossible).

Opinions are nothing in number its what they say thats important .I dont hatte but i dislike someone is reading this title right Now.And Haters are everywhere beware of there all hating eye >oh and i am not one so dont think anything funny.

Disregarding populariety, posers, etc. you also have people who dislike genres. Some people don't like sexual comedies so they'll hate one no matter how well done it is. Others hate FX, some hate action, many are bored to death by drama, etc. Toss in various generes of music on top of that and you're pretty much guarenteed you can't make a video everyone will like just becuase there isn't a type of video that everyone likes. The closest you can come would probably be a video everyone can acknowledge as well done even if they don't like it.

I agree with looking at what people write in the opinions about your video. That's important but sometimes, you get a dumbass who just wants to be a shmuck and says stupid things like

You suck and I don't like you.

Fine, if that;s what they think. When I see a stupid ass comment like that I go and check out their stuff and wouldn't you know it but sometiems its only one video they've made or NO VIDEOS.

I can take constructive criticim just like anyone else but if you're gonna tell me the vid sucks you better damn well explain why.

By the way I've never had an instance where someone has told me a vid has sucked but if they did, I would hope that they would do it in such a way that something positive can come out of it.

I think the problem in the amv community is that some people are ready to jump down someone's throat but they aren't ready to offer the encouragement that person needs in order to propel themselves further and become better.

That is very true as well.

I may get flamed for saying this but I hate trailers. I really do. I don't see the pont of them and the concept is stupid. IMO

But, I have seen a lot of trailer videos that are done so well that I put my bias aside and say "you know what that's pretty cool."

You have to twist my arm to watch one but yes, I do hate trailers.
