MADs are just what the japanese call these types of videos. Their editing style tends to be quite different from ours though, focusing more on effects and motion graphics.

Ah, Recollection. Now THAT'S how you do effects combine with some emotion and clarity. Of course I'll could understand the video a lot better if I could read the Japanese text and played the PC game.
