It's been a while since I posted in this forum. Anywah, I don't know if this has come up before, but I found it interesting: here

The worst? Oh no, my freind that is nowhere near the worst. In fact aside from it's insistance on lyric synch it's pretty good as it mentions conventions regarding quality, subtitles, and LinkinballZ.x_rex30 wrote:It's just Urban Dictionary. You could make up your own words and submit it there. I don't get why you posted this. Theres plenty of sites that give there own definition of AMV's and that has got to be the worst one I've read yet.
The worst are the condecending ones that dismiss making AMVs as "a way to waste a hour or two" and activly encourage using downloaded episodes/songs, throwing things together without rhyme or reason and other common newbie mistakes.

There are definitions of AMVs out there that can literally ruin your day if you take any pride in making AMVs as an artistic endevor or even just as a hobby.

Attempting to cover such topics in a definition that is supposed to be short and concise makes the definition very narrow minded. I've seen plenty of videos that break the "rules" and be very good videos.pen-pen2002 wrote:...aside from it's insistance on lyric synch it's pretty good as it mentions conventions regarding quality, subtitles, and LinkinballZ.

Yeah, your right in that aspect, I've read some just like that as well. I just find it a bit off in some ways he explained certain things.pen-pen2002 wrote:The worst? A video clip made by editing many cut scenes from one or more animes fit to some catchy MP3 song. The song is an important choice - it's either in English or in Japanese
