Concerning 'Studios'

Hi, I was just wondering what exactly it meant when a video bumper says 'A (whatever) Studios Production'. Does it mean that they're actually apart of some company that makes AMVs or something? Or do people simply put that in there to make them seem more professional? This is probably a stupid question, but humor me. :)
Working on my first AMV! Any help is greatly appreciated.

studios are generaly more than a little tag/banner to make the editor seem cooler :|

Ah, why not. go for it, make a site, put your vids up on it. take over rsd. just remember, its all for fun and chicks :D

Also, to expand, although there are one person studios, often a studio will come about when a bunch of friends want to be affiliated together, be on the same website, whatever. Hypeodermic Studios consists of Wonka and Beowulf, who are brothers, for instance.
