Matrix Revolutions and SOAD - Chop Suey request for AMV

Post by Apathyps » Sun May 22, 2005 2:24 pm

someone please please please put together a video that involves the combination of the last fight scene with Neo VS. Smith in the matrix revolutions (matrix3). it'd be fuckin awesome. i have a few other chop suey amvs that involve fighting and death and they kick ass for breakfast with soup.

p.s. fuck canada, unless someone that wants to make this video is canadian, or a webmaster/mod, or perhaps an owner of anything that might get me disliked or in trouble... and all that other shit that goes along with it, im uh sorry? or something.

msg me on aim at apathyps

by the way.... this is a suggestion for a song. if its in the wrong place on the forum. lemme know and ill repost it where ever

Hello from sunny Ottawa! :D

1) Can you expand? Is there specific lyric/action sync ideas you've got in mind that make you want to see this exact combination?
Otherwise, videos based on random combinations of ass-kicking music and visuals aren't neccesarily a good idea on their own.

2) Matrix revolutions... this forum... you are aware that Matrix series excluding (most of) Animatrix aren't anime? For all the possibilities, it doesn't really have anything to do with this particular site here...
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

well listen, first off, im not talking about the animatrix. im talking about the actual motion picture 'the matrix revolutions". if u watch the last fight scene and listen to the song 'chop suey' by system of a down, u will see that there are clear scenes and parts of the song that coincide with eachother. the self-righteous suicide is also clearly represented at the end of the fight scene as well, making for an ending of some sort right there.

all im trying to say is, a music vid with the matrix 3 fight scene between neo and smith at the end of the movie has some definite potential for being bad ass with the right mix of scene editing and song mixing. i think if anyone has some extra time or wants to take on what i see as a fairly simple task for any veteran amv artist. plus i really want to see one done.

I think you'll find thats the problem, this is an AMV site, only the animatrix (and not all of that) counts as anime, no matter how good it might be.

the third one's not as good as the other two anyway...

i thought the neo vs. agent smith fight scene was dbz when i first watched it. if you download a random dbz amv, it'll probably look like the neo vs. agent smith fight synched (or not) to music, except with brighter colors.
