Hellsing ideas

Post by Gallup » Fri Apr 29, 2005 10:26 am

Originally I had put up a posting asking if anyone knew any creepy Japanese musice. However, since noone seems to have any suggestions I was wondering if anyone knows of ANY really good songs that could go with this anime and have not been used with it before. It can be an any laguage or completely instrumental. Let me know if you think of anything.

What about "Haunted" by Evanescence...wait, I think that's been used. ... I'll have to get back to you, when I find all of meh music. ... Or, what about something by Lucerin Blue (like "Man Made Weapon", or something...?); or, a Radial Angel song... maybe a song from the DragonBall Z 18 1/2 Special c.d. ...I'm not sure which one for that, though. ... What about "Memory" by Yoko Kanno, from Cowboy Bebop....?
Or somethin' from .HACK//sign ? ...
Just kinda thinkin', here. ... ^^ (hope this helps...). ...

Haunted is on Evanescence's c.d. Fallen.

Man Made Weapon by Lucerin Blue is on their c.d. called Tales Of The Knife (you can find it in almost any store with music...they're a Christian group/labeled under Christian music, normally. Have you ever heard the song "Monday In Vegas" ["...On a Monday in Vegas / That was real / What can I say to you/ I need more defenses/ You seem to think that I / Deserve your pretenses/ I could have tried harder/ To deal with this/ But you leave me exhausted / That's what I miss / We're running this together..."]? It's a great c.d. -especially if you like LOUD music. ...)

Man Made Weapon goes like this:
As I build my weapon it destroys me
You lied to me about where you were
Don't you lie to me about what you saw
Don't you lie to me
Pick up your knife and hand it to someone else tonight
After the fight there'll be lots of blood for everyone tonight
Was it you
Who keeps funding this untimely operation
Then you'll find yourself walking breathing in the casing
Of the man-made weapon
It's in you, it's in me
Man-made weapon

Radial Angel is a bit of a strange group, but they too are normally in the Christian section in music stores. You might not be able to fins them in a place like Walmart or anything, since they aren't as well known (maybe like F.Y.E., or somewhere). The c.d. I have is called One More Last Time. They're pretty good...once again, loud music. ...but very beautiful on some songs... (to warn you: when the first song starts, it might make you jump a little. It takes about a second, then all of a sudden, he yells, or somethin'...I haven't listened to it in a while... .)

DragonBall Z 18 1/2 Special c.d. is a c.d. my sis bought in a comic/anime store in Flint, MI called "Comics Relief" (I believe that's how it's sp'd). It's kinda small, and I haven't been there in about two years, but it's still there. The vast majority of the songs are in Japanese, and are mixes/hard mixes of their original versions...Like "Cha-la Head-cha-la" is a Jungle Fever Mix...I've forgotten who sings it, but it's from the opening or ending, or something from DragonBall Z (the original, not the dubbed. it's on any DBZ dvd; you can watch it in Jap, with the song...but, I don't think that song would be so hot for Hellsing ^^' -lol-). ...

Um, ... you might be able to pick up a "Cowboy Bebop" sound track, or a Yoko Kanno c.d. from a place like "Comics Relief", or -depending on where you live-, there's an all anime/manga store in Ann Arbor, MI called WizzyWig Collectibles. [the website is: www.wizzywig.com, and the address is: 529 E.Liberty, Ann Arbor MI (phone number: 734-213-1112)] I'm getting all of tis out of a New Type Magazine, just to let you knwo; I've never been there, or anything ^^. But, I'm planing to soon...just haven't had the time, lately! . ... Or, maybe on borders.com, or amazon.com (well, borders.com goes straight to amazon.com ... .)

Same with .HACK//sign . I don't actually have a c.d. for this (or Cowboy Bebop, but I REALLY want one ^^'...).
maybe even F.Y.E. (depending on which one you go to...). You can even order imports and stuff from an F.Y.E. store; that's how I got the four Fruits Basket DVDs. ... -I know that the c.d.s/soundtracks are out, though, 'cuz I found some about two, two and a half years ago. ... Never even thoguht of getting them ^^'''. ...

Um, I guess that's it. ... Anymore questions, just go ahead and ask. Or, you can pm me... . I really hope all this helps ^___^!

Thanks for the help. I am going to Suncoast this weekend when the new JC Pennies opens in the Maplewood mall and if I am lucky they might have some of the CD's you mentioned.
