Thought he and Castor Troy were taken to task by the RIAA for the use of music in their videos (shows how long I've been away, they'd just been slapped with charges when I last dropped in...)

What does Castor Troy have to do with this? I don't believe he was ever a member of AcStudios.

Tibexpro.com, the site hosting AcStudios, apparently had their account disabled for a while by their host when the RIAA noticed the stuff they had available for download.
I was never told what actually happened after that (apparently there was some confusion and VoR couldn't get a copy of the papers), but <a href="http://www.tibexpro.com">they've since returned</a>. The AcStudios sub-site, however, has not.

All I know is people that were using tibex hosting including myself were in trouble.

Apparently it was all a misunderstanding.
