ex: Dream Theater, Zero Tower, Andromeda, Pain of Salvation, Gordian Knot, Offices of Strategic Influence, Liquid Tension Experiment, King Crimson, and many more.
Just to add another band: "The Mars Volta" are quite big (in the U.K. atleast) at the moment and are highly listenable in my opinion.
I'm bored and you're dumb. A match made in heaven.

Depends on my mood. Sometimes Neo-Classical, sometimes Progressive Metal. Other times, Classical Symphonies or Melodic Rock. It varies like the weather.

You pointed out one of those habits that a lot of people have. I could never listen to some happy rock song on a cloudy or rainy day.
Oh and i've never heard the term neo-classical. Whats that?

For the past couple of months, I've also been getting into the golden oldies from the 50's for some reason, except for all of those "I'm morning the loss of my girlfriend because I killed her in a car crash due to the fact that I'm a reckless driver and I don't have a license yet" songs. Pure cheap sappiness right there.
