In an attempt to get some imported anime at a reasonable price I decided to try and track down whoever is doing the local distribution of anime in Canada... but, I'm not having any luck.
How does it work up there? Do you get it straight from the US distro? Or is it something much more complicated?

Imorted anime you usually have to order from import places (these usually do not have subs and certainly are not dubbed (but that's a good thing ^^)), domestic titles are another matter (sometimes poorly done, but available easily).

Well, I get what pathetically little anime I have from local stores. I check around at various, and see who's cheaper. Where they get it from, I have no clue. Though my friend who works at a gaming shop told me a little about their anime distributor. He didn't tell me who it was or from where, but he did say that they were having trouble with the amount of time it would be until they could ship. I guess that's not much help.
