When you say 'mix,' do you mean creatively combine video and audio (at least transitionally), or are you just giving each renowned video its own 15-45 second segment with its original music and no real combining or transition? Will it basically just be consecutive samples of popular videos?
Either way I wouldn't watch. To mix it would probably be a fairly hideous jumble, and to just sample these popular videos would be a waste of time. For some people I suppose it could be a good way to highlight videos they might like, but we've already got systems up designed for helping people find videos they'll like. Most other people have already seen these famous videos. There's also what Castor said. You wouldn't be able to include all the worthy videos, and some of the left-out creators might be bitter.
That's my opinion, anyway.

Well, I've got the top-notch editor Koopiskeva's permission to use "Euphoria", which is the start of the project.
He also conveyed his thoughts on the project, explaining that he didn't really know WHY I was doing it, but that I wanted to, he had no complaints with it.
Anyway, here's how the project is shaping out so far:
A. Another Half - Netroop Fade in 0:20 - 1:05 hard fast fade
B. Koop - Euphoria around 3:00
C. Jump immediately into Whisper of the Beast - ScorpionsUltd at 1:29-2:19
(This list will continuouly grow as I work on it, I approximate between 20-25 videos, at about 15-20 minutes for the whole vid.)
The biggest problems will be fitting each song together, and also making sure to show the most impressive/funny/important part of the video.
Oh, and if anyone knows of a REALLY BAD DBZ video that an author would be willing to submit to a joke or two in this video, let me know. (I'm going to jump right into a DBZ action video, complete with horrible quality, etc, and cut it off with a record screech about 5 seconds in with WTF?!)

Use this as the really bad DBZ videoCoolMatty wrote:Well, seems I already got a friend to let me use his really bad DBZ vid already, so that part is taken care of. (I thought that would be the hardest part, having someone take the ego hit and have it dropped in among all these well known and great quality videos)
