Here's a great undeground J-Metal band: NAIAD, BITCHES!!! They have only about 3 or 4 songs but they kick ass!!
Be non-conformist! (Everyone's doing it!)
I guess Max Payne isn't much of a yaoi fan...

Eastern Youth, Husking Bee, and Naht. Kind of more on the melodic pop/punk end of the scale (except Eastern Youth which is more on the Mother Fucking Awesome end of the scale). And then there's Ruins, Acid Mothers Temple, and some old Zeni Geva (I feel weird calling KK Null's new stuff "rock" though).

Husking Bee has two or three albums out in the US, Eastern Youth has one (What Can You See From Your Place / 其処カラ何ガ見エルカ ), I think Ruins has a couple, AMT is dispersed through a million different distributors, Zeni Geva's back catalog is almost all available through Alternative Tentacles, and actually I guess even X-Japan is getting a record released here soon.

And I really need to listen to Polysics sometime, I feel like I'm missing out and all the other music nerds are laughing at me.

So speaking of JRock (thinks up a theme... say...) How's the new Diru album? I've listened to it since February, already got to somewhat like/ somewhat dislike it, get used to it, listen to it 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week and now I'm already slowly gettin bored of it. It's still great, although a lot people out there say it sucks. So...

On the other hand. I'm listening to a lot of different JRock, not only Visual Key, so thngs like Pillows, Plastic Tree, Alice Nine, Kagrra, The Brilliant Green [it gets all closer to Pop!], L'Arc~en~Ciel [lol, now that's for sure VKey], on that note Gackt, Malice Mizer, Luna Sea... (lots more!)

I <3 Dir en grey!! They are one of my favorite bands! I love a lot of the new songs on the new album, although I haven't heard the whole thing. I like a lot of the bands you said, except for Lar'c~en~C'iel, and The Brilliant Green...I don't usually like pop. But what you like is what you like, ne? ^__^

Well, we don't have a wide selection of JRock here in Russia XD, so Laruku is even not really considered that much pop, that it is ^^

PS, you don't need a *whispers* link to the album? PM mi if U want one, and I never mentioned it anywhere! XD *looks at the nearest admin* uh, no.. warez... right......
*notes that she probably should've kinda had it mentioned, say, three months ago when it still was hot, but the hell*
