I would do a question if possible.. How many of you actually work on the footage before the begin of an amv? I talk about Deinterlace (and other stuff maybe) episodes Before actually work on them.

I understand.. It would be what I would do but.. Do you have any problem for Disk space? I have a 100GB of Hard Disk, and more than 50 are full because of programs, video and audio footage...!!Scintilla

Usually, the only pre-processing I do is IVTCing. All the smoothing and sharpening and other enhancements I save for after exporting.
Two questions about it!°O°bum

I do most of my cleaning in pre-production and make huffyuvs as well....but I tend to run about [#eps] GB in source produced (where #eps is the number of source episodes being under consideration for source). If you actually plan your videos instead of composing them on the fly, you could probably get this down to 2x[final video size]; space should not be a big issue.Michele wrote:I understand.. Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

I like to preprocess my source footage as much as possible before use & cut clips.
Besides making Premiere crash less, it gives cleaner stills, etc.
It is space intensive though. I spent most of last week just processing footage for a new project, and I now have ~200 gigs of cleaned source.
