Alright children, I don't know if it's possible or not using this website but I'ld like to know if there's anyway we could compress the danged amv's using divx or somthing because seriously I think that this work is beautifull but I really don't have an hour and a half to download every little bit so please lets see if we can't do somthing about those file sizes... And if your thinking "Well I don't have a million dollars to blow on fancie compression software" then think again because divx player and movie maker come free. Alls you have to do is google it and download it and you'll be set to go...
Love to you all!

What are you talking about?
The vast majority of the videos on this website are already compressed, either with MPEG-1, MPEG-2, DivX, XviD, WMV, RM, or something else.
And XviD is also free, and better than the version of DivX you can get for free. And VirtualDubMod is also free.
And a whole bunch of other cool free software can be found here:

The file size restriction on locally uploaded AMVs (MEPs excepted) is 100 MB. I think that's pretty reasonable for video files that can be up to 6 minutes long (and some are longer, I'm sure).
So I don't see the problem.
