I found combustion to be more user freindly than AE. It only takes a few minutes to learn the basics and the tutorials from discreets site were enough to get me through being able to use most of the programs features without any hassles. It also has full support for AE and PS plugins. However I'l keep my pimping of this great program reserved until I actualy release something using it. However it isnt a cheap program. $1000US for the newly released combustion 4. But you might find combustion3 at a cheaper price, mabey around the 200-300 mark for a student price.FurryCurry wrote:No more so than AE, probably less, considering it's really got it's own thing going on with the user interface, and there are next to no How-to tutorial books for it, other than the user manual.
