considering i havent seen many animes w/ swords(wo)men in them, im gonna say, out of the ones ive seen, hiko from kenshin, and possibly suzuka from outlaw star. id say just suzuka, but frankly, her sword could be broken with a bullet, and dont say it cant because she was scared out of her mind when gene held a gun to it.

now that i think of it, Kuwabara (from Yu-Yu Hakusho) is pretty handy w/ his spirit sword... and, that thing is freaky! he would be a decent match for any normal swordsman.

Wait until you see the second version of the Spirit Sword. It's awesome. I changed my mind, I'd have to say either:

Alexander from Hellsing, or
Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho with the second version of his Spirit Sword
