Opinions!

Post by Mr Smee » Tue Jan 25, 2005 2:14 pm

OK Well I'm new to the AMV video editing using Anime (or Final Fantasy Which is what I’ve been using). I'm trying to improve but no one is letting me know if I' doing anything wrong. I have only done 2 videos, my second is better then the first, but I still need help. My ratings is low and no one is telling me why. I love working with videos (I have done it for a few years. Well 2) but This is starting to discouraging. I know that parts of my video is not the best quality, but I have just recently ripped FFX, and FFX-2 so my next video should have higher quality. (But that means nothing if I can’t get this video right to begin with) So if any one can watch my video, and tell me what I need to improve on that would be great. (Mr Smee Calling you by Blue October, and Alive by POD) the name of the song is also the video title. Thanks. –Mr Smee

Hun, your average received score overall is a 9, I wouldn't call that low. If you're talking about stars, well, you gotta remember that the star scale's only 1-5 so maybe if you convert it in your head to something like, "1=20, 2=40, 3=60, 4=80, 5=100" it'll come out making more sense. Of course, people could just be being pains and be voting 5 only for things they like and 1 only for things they don't, which could give you an innaccurate score. I'll look at them myself and tell you what I think.

you should really start editing using Animes rather then FF game footage since it's usually the same scenes ppl always use. I haven't seen anything different when watching urs.

I'm afraid of doing an FF AMV because of that. I have only done one video game AMV, and it was to a Castlevania game.

I will be giving a full OP of the Alive one.

Thank you. FF was the first game video I have done because it was easy to edit on to the computer. Also I'm more of a CG person too. Thank you for your opin.
