  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.

Well, considering it's your 2nd vid I've seen far worse out of people at this stage in their editting, so don't try to take anything I say too personally. Where your vid could really benefit from improvement is transitional usage. The slower parts of that song just BEG for crossfades, but you stick with cuts, which kinda hurt the pacing and flow. As a whole the vid has its fair share of synch problems, but most of them seem to come from the fact that the particular song you chose just has so much going on at once that it's difficult to figure out just what to do. I think Tsukin's vid is a great example of how your vid could improve, study it and look at the way he edits to every single aspect of the music simultaneously. Also I liked your use of thematic content, you told the story of Guts pretty well, just could've benefitted from some more fine tuning in the editting department.

On a side note, that's not the album version of the song, the guitar is missing in a few parts, weird. Anyways, keep editting and keep improving.

Thanks for your input. I’m always open for criticism and I never take it personally. I just saw the other vid with “bleed the sky” and all I can say is WOW. I will keep watching more and hone my skills but im just glad people are watching my vid. Thanks again for the input 

No, it's there throughout, it's just really hard to hear in some points. Namely when the song slows down. It's just a really crappy MP3 or something.

Anyway, nice attempt. Just keep working at it and editing to fast paced songs and action will become like 2nd nature to you. After awhile you can pick out all of the beats so easily and the time it takes you to edit something becomes much less.
