Anyway, an AMV concept that has always been on my mind was a Haibane Renmei one to "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton. The lyrics and footage certainly make it possible..I mean, "If I could fall into the sky..." Rakka's name means "To Fall," and "Into the sky" could refer to her...literally falling out of the sky. (Perhaps reversing the opening sequence of her fall in the opening could work?)
Even the whole "Making my way downtown....and I'm homebound," works. There is the town of Gile, and the Haibane call their home "Old Home.." it just really, really works.
Now, if I had the resources to make it, since I take classes for editing film and animations and whatnot, I would, but I don't. (Btw, off topic, what would be the best program to use? I used to use Adobe, but my computer crashed...)
Anyway, for any AMV artist out there who like this idea and bring it to life...I'd like to help.
