Huh...holy crap. O_O. That's so...shiny.
Unfortunately, I'm very much the AVS newb. Do the plugis/scripts mentioned work with the AMVApp right off the bad, or would I need to download some?

I would be careful with FFT3DFilter: misuse can make the footage look much worse than it originally did. In particular, because it operates on the image as a grid, setting some wacky parameters (like extremely small block size and high strength) will give you grid-like artifacts all over the image. It may be interesting if you're looking for a static version of dot crawl, but I can't think of too many situations in which that would be desirable.Kalium wrote:The page has moved, it's now here.
I believe the filters that aren't in the AMVapp are TDeint and FFT3Dfilter, both of which are linked to by the page.
Then again, FFT3DFilter doesn't deliver the kind of immediate and obvious cleaning that Deen does -- it's very subtle, and is really more suited for live-action material rather than anime. I felt that it would work for Boogiepop Phantom because BP has the kind of subtle changes in detail that you'd find more typically in live-action rather than anime. (Though I'm starting to even second-guess that.)
So...yeah.
Come to think of it, I should write this on the wiki
